Odour elimination / Ozone treatment:
As previously mentioned particularly strong odours sometimes require more than just cleaning to permanently remove. In some cases cleaning may not be required or even necessary, for example if a room has hard flooring but an odour remains. This is where ozone cleaning comes in.
Sometimes referred to as ‘active oxygen’ It’s a natural purifier and fantastic way of permanently eliminating odours such as tobacco smoke, animal smells, urine and even odours left from food or fires. It works in any enclosed space, your home, car, caravan or even your sports bag!
Unlike deodorizers, air fresheners or chemical sanitizers that are designed to just cover up odours, ozone works in a very different, but extremely effective and natural way.
How it works:
Our ozone generator converts oxygen (O2) into ozone (O3) by adding an extra molecule of oxygen to the air. This oxidises the volatile organic compounds (the odours) and therefore eliminating the odour and killing bacteria and mould and even viruses.
Ozone is the gas equivalent of how bleach or chlorine works. To the extent that today, ozone is the preferred method of purifying the majority of the world’s bottled water over chlorine. This is mainly due to being a natural product with no chemicals or additives, and there being no negative side effects.
How we do it?
Our ozone generator is capable of producing ozone to fill from the smallest of areas to the largest of office spaces. We seal the affected room or area off, then set up the electrical generator to produce the correct volume of ozone for the area to be fully treated.
Treated areas can be left fully furnished, in fact we recommend this as odours can be present in the fabrics and furniture within the room. Fans can be used to circulate the ozone into every crevice in your home, ensuring the odours are permanently removed. Once the generator has been on for the required time, the ozone converts back to oxygen, and your home or office is now odour-free!
